When serving children from hard places, it is vital to have an active community of friends and family supporting you. Project 1.27 will help you gather and train that important team of people.

Your Support Team is a group of friends and/or family members willing to commit to supporting you during your foster or adoptive journey. That support can make the difference between a thriving family and disheartening isolation.
Project 1.27 families are required to bring at least four Support Team Members to Support Team Training before submitting an Application Packet.
A Support Team member commits to:

- Pray for your family.
- Understand the foster care/adoption journey by attending in Support Team Training.
- Build relationship with your family by spending time together.
- Encourage your family by meeting practical needs.

INVITE YOUR SUPPORT TEAM TO TRAINING
During a 4-hour Saturday training, we help your Support Team develop a greater of understanding of what it means to care for a child from the foster system. Through group discussion, you will address your hopes and concerns with trusted team members.
