Church Foster Ministry Training Available

As a pastor or a lay leader, have you thought about building a Foster Adoption Friendly church but don’t know how to get started?  Project 1.27 provides a 3-hour Church Ministry training that guides a leadership team through developing a Foster Adoption ministry designed to work within your church framework. 

ATTENDEES WILL:

• Identify and develop a vision and mission statement that fits your church
• Uncover the direction and values of their ministry
• Learn how to appropriately engage church leadership and the members of their congregation
• Network with other churches who have a foster adoption friendly ministry (where possible)
• Learn how to recruit and maintain volunteers, including training a support group facilitator
• Receive a 12-month planning guide
• Receive Foster Adoption Ministry resources to help equip parents on their foster adoption journey
• Walk through a template for managing a foster adoption support group
